Download | Hawkwind - Hawkfest, Donington Park Farmhouse, 16/06/2007 |
127MB | Brock, Chadwick, Stuart, Dibs Another recording proving that the band thrive on crises. This is Dibs full time debut, stepping in at the 11th hour to replace the departing Alan Davey. Given this last minute line up change, the band deliver a relaxed and intimate show including a rare sighting of a slightly off kilter 'Cold War Kid'. Terrific Stuff Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 28/11/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - The Deco, Northampton, 24/10/2006 |
119MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Stuart This is an excellent recording of the band, remixed by a keen fan already. The set reflects TMTYL, and would later appear officially (fleetingly) from another date as the 'Space Melt' DVD. Features 'Puck Speaks' - a version of Davey's solo 'Marine Snow' with a poem over it. 'Motorhead' is dusted down for the encore. Starfarer notes 'SOTA' was also played in the encore, but appears to have been mislaid from this recording. Another excellent document of the band. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 31/10/2010 |
Part 1 109MB | Hawkwind - Astoria, London, 21/12/2005 - Part 1 - Part 2 |
Part 2 101MB | Line up:- Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Stuart, Barton, Huggett The 2005 Christmas show specially remastered for us by Rob Dreamworker. See Starfarer's Hawkwind Page for a review. Many thanks to Rob Dreamworker for the upload. Uploaded 06/09/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Bergenfest, Bergen, Norway, 04/05/2005 |
105MB | Brock, Chadwick, Davey, Stuart + guests Dibs and members of WE A terrific recording of the band in Norway - features excellent versions of Paradox, and material from TMTYL. The band are joined on Brainstorm and MOTU by several members of the band WE. Considering this is the first gig after a 5 month lay off the band sound tight and are clearly relaxed and enjoying themselves. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 28/01/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Manchester Academy 2 20/12/2004 |
114MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Davey, Stuart + guests Dumpy & Dibs This is an excellent recording of the band on their regular winter tour, joined on a couple of numbers by Dumpy, who was supporting. Mr Dibs also appears reading poems and during 'Uncle Sam..' The band were on the verge of releasing TMTYL and the set reflects this with outings for 'Greenback.', 'Out Here..', 'Digital Nation' & 'To love..'. Richard complains the band are 'sleepy' toward the end, due to 'partying' - if this is the Hawks on a tired night woe betide anyone catching them on a energetic night! Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 26/02/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Phoenix Centre, Exeter, 25/10/2003 |
105MB | Line up:- Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Kniveton, Barton. An unusual sighting of the band with extra guitarist Barton guesting - also features the (so far) unreleased instrumental 'Into the Trees'. The band are pretty relaxed with Dave commenting '...I come here to do my shopping...' A very good recording, featuring a lot of the favourites. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 15/05/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Melkweg, Amsterdam, 17/08/2003 |
128MB | Brock, Chadwick, Davey, Barton, Mr Dibs The band played intermitent gigs through the summer of 2003 at various festivals, appearing here at their old haunt in Amsterdam - joined by Keith Barton and Mr Dibs guesting. A nicely mixed set featuring Green Finned Demon and a selection of old favorites. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/06/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - Roadmenders, Northampton, 10/12/2002 |
174MB | Brock, Chadwick, Davey, Blake, Langton, Brown Caught here between the 2 live albums recorded on this tour the band are clearly quite relaxed, covering 2 of Arthur Brown's numbers in a largely retro set that includes a spiced up Earth Calling and Sonic Space Attack. There is a bit of crowd chat during the first number, but it dies down to a very decent recording. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/02/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - Summer Camp, Hawkfest, 20/07/2002 |
161MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Davey, Blake, House, Thompson, Langton, Huggett, Kniveton, Rizz. Another set with more guests than you can shake a stick at. A decent recording of the band in the safety of their own fan only festival. Features a rare sighting for 'Strangeflower' and 'For Kirsty', two of HLL's numbers. The band are all in relaxed mood - a terrific bootleg. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 08/06/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Assembly Hall, Wathamstow, London, 24/11/2001 |
106MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, House, Langton, Rizz You wouldn't know that Huw was suffering from undiagnosed Legionaires Disease and forced to sit on a chair for a lot of the gig - the band are chipper and the sound is great. I was at this gig and vividly remember Simon's bright coloured shorts - worn outside his trousers - our very own rock super hero! Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 05/05/2013 |
Download | Newcastle Opera House 14/11/2001 |
112MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Davey, HLL, House A regular night from the 01 tour - pretty decent sound quality - the band in relaxed mood, Brock teasing Simon about his classical background - the following year the band would choose this venue to record 'Out of the Shadows' live album. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 08/01/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Princes Hall, Aldershot, 01/04/2001 |
133MB | Brock, Chadwick, Tree, Richards, Davey, Huggett, House, Langton The reappearance of both Davey and Langton in this lengthy line up must have made Tree and Richards feel a little surplus to requirements, and indeed by the summer both had left the band. This is only the second gig from a short spring tour and the band sound a little chaotic and under rehearsed. There is no encore here, or listed on Starfarer. It is a shame, as I don't feel this line up were given a full chance. The legendary Ken Barlow chant is included within.... Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 05/10/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - James Cabaret, Wellington, NZ 12/02/2000 |
161MB | Brock, Chadwick, Richards, Bainbridge, House, Taylor In front of what sounds like a very small audience this recording has more of a private party feel to it, the band joking with each other and the audience, seemingly careless. This is a terrific intimate recording of the unique line up that completed the Australian / NZ tour, with Steve Taylor covering for absent Ron Tree. Features a largely retrospective set, too. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 28/05/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Utopia, Fairfield Halls, Croydon, 14/11/1999 |
112MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Richards, Tree, House, Bainbridge, Turner, Rizz, Kniveton. A terrific sounding recording of the band prior to the Hawkestra, when everyone was getting along just fine (!?). Nik makes his way to the stage blowing his sax, from the rear of the auditorium, through the audience during Motorway City. This is a great set too, making the most of Hawks old & new. Shame there were so many problems on the horizon. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 06/06/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Hawktour 99 - The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes, 10/11/1999 |
82MB | Brock, Chadwick, Tree, Richards, House, Bainbridge This has always been a favourite bootleg of mine - its good quality, at an intimate venue and features a terrific performance of a short lived line up. Features the unreleased 'Anna Seed' and the band asked back for more than one encore. Terrific. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 05/05/2013 |
Download | Hawkwind - Strange Daze Festival, Nelson Ohio, 15/08/98 |
80MB | Chadwick, Richards, Rizz + Taylor, Hayes This gig right here is one of the reasons I love Hawkwind so much. Both Brock and Tree were refused visas to enter the US on the eve of this festival appearance, leaving the band without bassist or guitarist. Any other band would have cancelled their show. But not the Hawks. Recruiting temporary deputies Steve Taylor and Steve Hayes from Sun Machine the band went on to play a heavily improvised set. Features the improvised Starfire Mountain Dreaming. The band's only gig in 1998 and the Captain didn't make it! Great stuff. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 28/01/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Strangedaze Festival, Sherman Brushwood Centre, NY 31/08/1997 |
107MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Tree, Richards, Rizz, & guest Turner. A terrific recording of the under estimated 97 touring band, headlining the inaugural Strange Daze Space Rock Festival. Set features a rare rant on the state of air quality by Rizz ('Pollution') along with set regulars from the time Wheels, Alchemy & Reptoid. Nik joins the band on Brainstorm and Ejection, after Dave warns him to play his sax 'in tune'. Great stuff. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 21/03/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Coney Island High 29/08/1997 |
140MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Tree, Richards, Rizz. An excellent quality recording. Almost soundboard quality. Many thanks to Rob Dreamworker for the upload. Uploaded 15/03/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - The Cubby Bear, Chicago, 24/08/1997 |
74MB | Brock, Chadwick, Tree, Richards If memory serves this recording is lifted from a video bootleg, which accounts for the Space Ritual recording of Earth Calling at the begining - a terrific sounding gig - very enthusiastic US audience - check out the rip roaring encores of Reptoid... and the segue of Ejection into Black Corridor. A few drop outs in the opening numbers give way to a decent sound throughout. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 15/11/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - Paradiso, Amsterdam, 26/06/1996 |
147MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Tree The sound takes a couple of numbers to settle down, but by Blue Skin is pretty decent. The band tease the crowd about the England football match that is being played while they are onstage - an enjoyable gig featuring a rare sighting for The Secret Agent. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 29/04/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Melkweg, Amsterdam 02/11/1995 |
123MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Tree A very decent recording from the Alien 4 tour, at the popular Dutch venue. The band sound rejuvenated, and the set features rare sightings of many songs from the Alien 4 period, that disappeared from the set soon after. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 27/02/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Bochum, Zeche, 26/10/1995 |
143MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Tree A very good recording from the Love in Space set, with Ron now fronting the band. A good set, but seems to lack very much banter or improvisation - probably as a result of the theatrics of the tour. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/12/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Limelight, New York, USA, 09/04/1995 |
113MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick, Tree A decent recording from the Alien tour in a smaller venue - features a rare showing for White Zone, and a terrific LSD in the encore. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 20/01/2013 |
Download | Hawkwind - Live Music Hall, Cologne, Germany, 13/11/1994 |
119MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick A terrific recording of the band on their Winter 94 Euro tour. Set features LSD, QS&C and an early version of Blue Skin, titled 'The Eye That Looks Within'. It never ceases to amaze me how full the sound is, considering there are only the three of them! Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 31/10/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Brixton Fridge, London, 14/04/1994 |
124MB | Line up:- Brock, Davey, Chadwick, House. Excellent quality audience recording. Simon House guests on Hashish. Many thanks to Guy Thomas for the upload. Uploaded 11/01/2014 |
Download | Hawkwind - Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone 24/11/1993 |
183MB | Line up:- Brock, Davey, Chadwick. Folkestone in 1993 was a really enjoyable gig. Psychedelic Warlords, Green Finned Demon and Assasins of Alah were my favourite tracks. There was also an early version of Sputnik Stan without the bass jam middle section. A great gig with alot of spacey bits in. My friend Nick came with me and it was his first Hawkwind gig. He has since been to several others with me. This is one long mp3 and isn't broken up into separate tracks. Many thanks to Dave Dilliway for the upload. Uploaded 06/05/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Rock City, Nottingham. 16/11/1993 |
172MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick This audience recording of the Brock, Chadwick & Davey lineup shows that Hawkwind can still rock even when there's only three of them. Although there's rather a bit too much ambient keyboard wandering here for my liking (the opening chords of Psychedelic Warlords are played on what sounds like a Bontempi organ!), luckily the sparseness of the aural landscape leaves more room for the Captain's guitar-work and that's always a good thing. Plus there's a rare live outing for Brock's Green Finned Demon. The recording is from the CD Rock City bootleg CD. Many thanks to Dave Brown for the upload. Uploaded 26/11/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - Corn Exchange, Cambridge, 11/11/1993 |
110MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick A really excellent recording from the Business Trip tour - a great full sound for the 3 piece. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 05/05/2013 |
Download | Hawkwind - Paradiso, Amsterdam, 26/04/1993 |
167MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick A set from the three piece era caught on their spring jaunt around Europe in '93, including the rare Land of Inspirations and Secret Agent - a decent sounding concert. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 15/11/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - National Ballroom, Kilburn 03/12/1992 |
195MB | Line up:- Brock, Davey, Chadwick. I went to the Kilburn gig in 1992. My memories of it are that I enjoyed the band playing "looking in the Future" and 7 by 7 very much. I was a little stoned and fell off my chair at one point. Those were the days !!!! I really enjoyed Hawkwind in the 90's as they were a really tight unit, but I always wished they would get a synth player to fill out the sound a little, as I'm a sucker for those electronic sounscapes that were on the early albums. This is two long mp3s not separate tracks. Many thanks to Dave Dilliway for the upload. Uploaded 06/05/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Royal Court, Liverpool, 03/05/1992 |
147MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick Recorded a couple of weeks before the officially available live album from this tour, the 3 piece make an incredibly rich and full sound here - a great set that features Mask of Morning and Space Dust. There are a couple of times when someone nearby is shouting too loud, but hey, it's like really being there. Some terrific dreamy medleys here, and a decent recording. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 29/04/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Rock Heaven, Herford, Germany, 07/10/1991 |
106MB | Brock, Davey, Chadwick A really excellent sounding recording of the band from 1991 - a short club set here - with a very full sound for the three piece. A truely great bootleg. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 05/10/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - St Catherine's Hideaway, Ontario, Canada 17/05/1991 |
163MB | Line up:- Brock, Chadwick, Davey. Although there is already a gig from 1991 available here I have included this one as the line up and set are completely different. What we have here is a gig from the Hawks very first tour as a three piece. The recording is excellent and the band are clearly brimming over with new ideas and arrangements. Clearly the reduced line up has energised them. A terrific set. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 23/07/2010 |
Download | Missing in Vienna - Rockhaus Vienna 27/03/1991 |
171MB | Line up - Bainbridge / Davey / Chadwick / Wishart / Bemand In 91 Hawkwind did a short tour without Dave (he was busy mixing the new LP) Steve Bemand filling in. I have a couple of recordings from this tour and, to be honest, the band sound a bit like a covers act to my ears - but this gig - something gells and they are cracking. Very interesting to hear the band with a different guitarist - Steve also sings 'Out of the Shadows' - it's a sort of vision of Hawkwind according to Bainbridge and Davey. Some excellent numbers, including 'Reefer Madness' Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 02/02/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Omni, Oakland, 16/12/1990 |
190MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, Chadwick, Wishart. This is an audience recording of the complete show that 'California Brainstorm' was recorded at. Many thanks to Bernhard Pospiech for the upload. Uploaded 29/12/2013 |
Download | Hawkwind - Omni, Oakland, 16/12/1990 |
44MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, Chadwick, Wishart. This is an audience recording of the 5 songs either missing, or incomplete, from the show that 'California Brainstorm' was recorded at. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/04/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Ambler Cabaret, PA, USA 30/11/1990 |
128MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, Chadwick, Wishart One from the US Winter tour of '90 - a great recording with very vocal and excited audience. Features an early Snake Dance, Star Song and Harvey's TV / Back in the Box. The band are firing on all cylinders and clearly enjoying themselves. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 09/08/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - The Channel, Boston, USA, 28/11/1990 |
140MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, Chadwick, Wishart Another decent recording from the Winter 90 tour, encoring with the wonderful Reefer Madness. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/02/2012 |
Download | Hawkwind - University, Norwich, 10/11/1990 |
128MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, Chadwick, Wishart A terrific sounding recording of the band caught in late 1990, near the end of this line up. Features great renditions of Out of the Shadows and Back in the Box. Would be so great to see Reefer Madness back in the set these days, wouldn't it? Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 30/06/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Heads, Corn Exchange, Cambridge 14/12/1989 |
158MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Davey, House, Chadwick Richard's first tour with the band - Simon also back in the fold for a while following HLL's departure. A terrific recording here 'Treadmill' fits in well with snatches of older hawks material in a couple of long but relaxed medleys. The band were collecting for the Travellers Trust on this tour and are clearly energised. A great recording. Many thanks to Wingnut and Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 26/09/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Brixton Academy, London 05/03/1989 |
126MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Chadwick, House, Turner, Griffin, Ashby A shorter set from the band here, at the Brixton Academy, another venue popular with the band in the late 80's and early 90's. Alan Ashby delivers a couple of rare poems Welcoming Hands of Space and Coleridge on the Enterprise - a great performance from all - This would be Huw's last gig with the band for quite a while, and (I think) the last time Martin Griffin would ever appear with them. Very unusually the band run through Ejection twice - as a tribute to the recently lost Calvert. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 27/02/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Kamikazi, Northampton, 11/12/1988 |
135MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Chadwick A very decent recording of the band from the late 80's heading into a time of many personnel changes. Chadwick replacing the recently departed Thompson here, and a set of songs that for the most part weigh in under 5 minutes each. Features Lost Chronicles, Levitation and Heads. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 30/03/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - University, Leicester, 10/12/1988 |
135MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Chadwick Sound wise this is as good as they come, an audience recording but mixed from 2 sources giving stereo - a great set from the late 80's line up, welcoming Richard on his first tour. A terrific bootleg. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 03/12/2011 |
Download | Hawkwind - Sci-Fi Convention, Brighton Centre, 28/08/1987 |
160MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Thompson For one night only the band replayed the Chronicle of the Black Sword for this Sci-Fi Convention. A slightly different setlist and sequence from the '85 shows includes Urban Guerrilla and Assassins in the encore. A great recording, perhaps a little heavy on the bass. Hawkwind - Acid Daze Festival, Finsbury Park, London, 23rd August 1987 Pink Fairies - Acid Daze Festival, Finsbury Park, London, 23rd August 1987 Dr and the Medics - Acid Daze Festival, Finsbury Park, London, 23rd August 1987 |
96/40/66MB | Hawkwind / Pink Fairies / Dr & the Medics This was the very first time I saw the Hawks - and what a day! Playing in a 'super tent' in Finsbury Park - just the day before I had seen Bon Jovi, Dio & Metallica at Donington - what a different and better experience this was! Each band had great sound and the line up was stellar (GBOA, Ozric Tentacles, Naz Nomad - or the Damned as they are better known). Included here, in the spirit of 'Friends and Relations', are the sets from the Fairies and Dr & The Medics. Check out the panicked ad-libing of the Dr at the beginning of their set, during sudden technical difficulties! What a showman! Their set includes their recent number one hit single 'Spirit in the Sky'. I remember the Hawks set having the best laser show I have seen and the band each having face paint that only appeared when they were illuminated with ultra violet light. Trippy. A sublime set is topped with guest appearances on the encore by Dumpy and Lemmy. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 18/04/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Lost Chronicles, Frankfurt, Batschkapp, Germany, 26/05/1987 |
121MB | Brock, Bainbridge, HLL, Davey, Thompson The late great HLL is prominent in this excellent recording from the stable 80's line up, featuring Dreaming City, Moonglum, Rocky Paths, and Waiting for Tomorrow - HLL lost - but never forgotten Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 20/01/2013 |
Download | Hawkwind - Cajun Jinx, Hammersmith Odeon 27/11/1986 |
130MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Thompson The unusually stable mid 80's line up deliver a solid set, including 'Cajun Jinx' and 'Dreaming City' - a pretty good sounding bootleg of a very decent gig. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 23/08/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Dragons and Fables, Rock City, Nottingham 04/06/1985 |
110MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Davey, Deamer A time of flux for the band on this recording - Deamer still in the drum seat despite Thompson's successful try out at the Stonehenge festival the previous summer - and the band premiering early versions of numbers that would later crop up on 'Chronicle..' Also features the 'long lost' HLL songs 'Got your Number' & 'Mark of Cain' (Such a shame these were never formally recorded). Sound quality is not bad and the band are clearly in a creative groove, with some unusual arrangements - 'Assault & B' teamed with 'Sleep..' For instance. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 26/09/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Queensway Hall, Dunstable 18/11/1984 |
142MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Turner, Davey, Deamer This set features a good number of rare sightings - Got your Number, Nuclear Toy, Mark of Cain, Curse of Man & even a dance competition during MOTU. This was Davey's first tour proper with the band, and Nik's last. It was Bainbridge's first tour as keyboard player. In the drum seat at this stage is Clive Deamer, who was soon to be superseded himself. Given all the chops and changes this is a terrific set, with the band experimenting with new numbers, clearly a great evening. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 31/12/2010 |
Download | Captain on the Bridge - Ramsgate Marina 28/05/1984 |
135MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, HLL, Turner, Deamer, Dead Fred + Guest Calvert An historic gig, but for the sadest of reasons - this is Bob's last performance with the band - Hawks were headlining a 'battle of the bands' day in Ramsgate, Bob's home town - he guests throughout the gig Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 08/01/2010 |
Download | Hawkwind - Electronica Festival, Woughton Centre, Milton Keynes 03/09/1983 |
63MB | Line up:- Brock, Turner & Bainbridge. A very strange recording of mostly improvised material. Both Brock & Bainbridge provide keyboard backing to Nik who along with playing sax and flute clangs bits of metal and such. I seem to remember reading somewhere that they appeared under the name 'Nik & the ET's'. With no guitars or drums you can see where the band earned their reputation as 'Godfather's of Ambient Music'. A truly strange concert. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 21/03/2010 More details from Andy Garibaldi |

129MB | Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Griffin, Turner This recording is missing its encore unfortunately, but is undiminished in showing the '82 line up at the height of their powers. The penultimate night of the Choose tour benefits from Turner's (temporary) return to the band, giving a focus for the audience. Features Steppenwolf and Social Alliance. 160/150MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Lloyd-Langton, Griffin (+ Calvert on tape?). Two for the price of one! These are recordings from consecutive gigs at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, in 1981. Sound quality is not bad, but the vocals are rather low in the mix. Many thanks to Rob Dreamworker for the upload. Uploaded 16/03/2010 |

117MB | Line up:- Brock, Bainbridge, Langton, Blake, Baker. A gig from the Levitation tour, just 3 nights before an unhappy Tim Blake leaves the band for personal reasons. With Baker on drums it was a fractious time for the band, but does it show? I don't think so. The band move through songs old and new with vigour. A really great recording, featuring rare sightings of Levitation numbers never seen in the set again. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 23/07/2010 |

107MB | Brock, King, Bainbridge, Langton, Blake A recording from the Winter tour of '79 - before the turbulent line up changes of the following year. Blake performs New Jerusalem in the middle of the set, which also features Phenomenon of Luminosity and PXR5. A pretty decent recording, too. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. 58MB | Line up:- Brock, Ollis, Detmar, Dik Mik, Turner, Lemmy, Calvert Recordings from the early 70's are of notoriously poor quality, but this is quite listenable. It is of obvious interest as being from the band's glorious 'time of the captains' period. Calvert recites the rare 'Beast of Chaos' poem, and 'Starfarer's Dispatch'. There is also a cracking version of 'You Know Your Only Dreaming'. Many thanks to Captain Deli for the upload. Uploaded 26/02/2010 |
